My passion is food, for as long as I can remember.  This connection with food has been influenced and enhanced by so many close family and friends from all over the world.   I have also traversed across some of the globe from the youngest of age, of 6, and witnessed amazing locations, cultures and places, where a vast variety of bites and delicacies were tried and tasted.  Now studying a Bachelor of Science, to unravel the chemistry that is food and share the profoundness of my discoveries with you.  My other passion is engaging in learning music as a hobby.

Here I mix posts about experiences past, present and future talented musos where food and music meet at events, venues and destinations.  Along my journey I am quite intrigued by healthy snacks to keep up my energy.  Snacks have always been my weakness and I wasn't always focused on the healthiest options, this has been a journey in itself, which I share here and hope gives fulfilment to those busy with study, work and activites where you need snacks to keep you boosted with quality nourishing options home made and on offer in stores.

I have worked in hospitality since the age of 14, initially as a woodfire pizza cook in an Italian restaurant, and as a cook, assisting a seasoned chef, at a popular events restaurant in Brisbane.  Later moving to Kangaroo Island and taking a role at an award winning restaurant, helping to fill in for a chef while he took a well deserved annual break.  Most recently, I enjoyed working for a group of Indian cooks at a local Kangaroo Island cafe.   In between, I leased and managed a cafe with 80 covers 19km east of the most popular tourist site in the state - Port Arthur, building a team of 14, at one of the most southern tips of Australia, in scenic Tasmania.  I was barely aged 19 and the learning curves were many, but the adventure was beyond compare.  This experience sealed my commitment to food service forever.

Due to an injury from a car accident I have transitioned my unwavering connection to food by sharing a great many of my experiences in the kitchen, and out and about, with others who understand the food click.  If you are seeking inspiration to find those places and recipes which hit the spot, on so many levels, not just to serve a single purpose of sustaining energy to keep going on busy days, but to actually stop and enjoy all creative obsession which has gelled together to make food an out of this world experience, then welcome to this adventure.
